Head Coach:
Dave Adolph
Dave Adolph has been the Head Coach of the Dogs for 15 years and in that time has guided his team to 13 consecutive post-season appearances (1994-2005) and four Canada West Championship titles. Team success is not the only success Coach Adolph has garnered in his years as Head Coach. Dave was honoured in 1998 and 2000 as Canada West Coach of the Year, only the second Saskatchewan Head Coach with such accolades. Dave King was the first in 1980. In December 2004, Adolph received the honour of being named to the coaching staff of Hockey Canada’s National team. As assistant coach, he traveled with the squad to the Lotto Cup in Slovakia.
Adolph’s experience and dedication to the team stems from his involvement with the Dogs as a player and assistant coach (six years) prior to taking his current position at the helm. Adolph played hockey with the Dogs while obtaining his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees at the U of S. During his career as a Huskie Hockey player and co-captain Adolph and his teammates captured three Canada West Championship titles and the team brought home the National title in 1983, the only National Championship captured by the Huskie Men’s Hockey team.
Prior to joining the Huskies as Head Coach, Adolph began his head coaching career with the University of Lethbridge in 1989 and stayed with the Pronghorns for four seasons. In December of 2004, he was
Dave has been married to his wife Bev for 17 years. They have two children: a daughter Madison who is 14 years old, and a son Max who is 12 years old.

Assistant Coaches:
Troy Walkington
In his 3rd year coaching with Dave Adolph, Troy spent many years with the Hockey Dogs in the mid-80’s as an assistant coach under Brent McEwen. He then moved to the UK and coached in the Sekonda Ice Hockey Superleague, as well as with the Great Britain Junior National Team. He then moved back across the waters and was hired on as the General Manager/Coach of the Flin Flon Bombers in the SJHL, before returning to Saskatoon in the summer of 2003 to establish a career in real estate.
Audun Klath
Entering his 7th year as an assistant coach with the Huskies, Audun brings with him a wealth of hockey background having played and coached at Notre Dame College in Wilcox, Saskatchewan. “Audie” has become the video expert as the Huskies enter the world of digital film.
Larry Grozell
In his 3rd year as assistant coach, Larry is a welcome addition to the Huskie Hockey program. He is a scout for the Prince George Cougars of the WHL and is also a member of the player selection group for the Saskatchewan Hockey Association Top 90 prospects for Bantam-aged players. Larry formerly coached in the Saskatoon Minor Hockey Association.
Aaron Tetu
A 4th-year assistant coach and former player with the Huskies, Aaron brings to the squad vast knowledge in the dynamics of university athletics. He is also a practicing lawyer in Saskatoon.
